The Beneteau Oceanis 393 “Windependent” features a bright, inviting interior with a highly functional three-cabin, two-head layout, ideal for both extended cruising and comfortable onboard living.
Stepping down from the cockpit, you are immediately greeted by a spacious saloon finished in warm cherrywood joinery, offering generous headroom and bathed in natural light from large overhead hatches and fixed portlights. The saloon features a U-shaped settee to port surrounding a large dining table, opposite a small centerline settee, creating a welcoming social area for dining or relaxing.
To starboard, the linear galley is equipped for serious cruising, with expansive counter space, deep double sinks, a gimbaled stove and oven, refrigeration, and abundant storage for provisions. Aft to port, the navigation station offers a dedicated workspace with comfortable seating, clear instrument displays, and easy access to ship’s systems and communications.
Two aft cabins flank the companionway, each with a double berth, hanging locker, and opening port, for light and ventilation. Moving forward past the saloon, the owner’s cabin offers a spacious pullman berth, ample storage in lockers and shelving, along with its own private en-suite head with marine toilet, sink, and shower. A second head, located aft to starboard, is easily accessible for guests and day use.
The saloon of the Beneteau 393 is bright and inviting, with warm cherrywood joinery, generous headroom, and abundant natural light from overhead hatches and large side portlights. A spacious U-shaped settee with a dining table sits to port, opposite a straight line galley to starboard. Upholstery is plush yet durable, and clever storage is integrated throughout. The open layout creates a welcoming, social space ideal for dining, relaxing, or entertaining underway or at anchor.
The linear galley to starboard is designed for secure, efficient use at sea, with expansive counter space, deep stainless-steel sinks, a gimbaled stove and oven, and top-loading refrigeration. Ample lockers and drawers provide excellent storage for provisions and cookware. Positioned along the hull, it offers easy access to both the saloon and cockpit, allowing the cook to stay connected with crew while preparing meals underway or at anchor.
The deck-stepped mast with swept spreaders and all lines led aft to the cockpit make sail handling safe and straightforward. The fine entry and moderate beam carried aft give her an easy groove to steer, while the generous sail plan delivers excellent light-air performance and the ability to carry speed when the breeze builds.
Windependent is built with a solid fiberglass hull and balsa-cored deck over Beneteau’s structural grid, she offers stiffness, durability, and strength without excess weight. On deck, a deep, secure cockpit, wide side decks, and a walk-through transom offer both safety underway and convenience at anchor.
