Stepping aboard Equinox, you are immediately struck by the spaciousness and layout of the interior, a standout feature for a sailboat of this size. Hunter's approach to maximizing comfort and functionality is evident throughout, making this vessel an ideal choice for both weekend getaways and extended cruising.
Descending into the main salon, the first thing you'll notice is the abundance of natural light. Large, well-placed ports and skylights create an airy, open atmosphere. The main salon features a U-shaped dinette to starboard, offering comfortable seating for dining or entertaining. Across from the dinette, a plush settee provides additional seating, along with access to the traditional navigation table and electrical panel.
The L-shaped galley, located aft to port, is designed for serious cooking, with a two-burner stove, microwave, deep double sinks, and ample counter space. Storage is plentiful, with cabinets and drawers thoughtfully placed, this galley has everything you need for extended cruising.
Moving aft, you’ll find the private cabin. Designed with comfort in mind, the aft cabin features a queen-sized berth that’s oriented athwartships, providing easy access from either side. There is standing headroom at the cabin entrance which adds to the feeling of spaciousness. The cabin also includes multiple storage options, including hanging lockers and shelves, ensuring you have plenty of stowage.
The forward cabin has a generously sized V-berth that offers comfortable sleeping accommodations for guests or family. Like the aft cabin, the forward cabin has ample storage, with lockers and shelving. The cabin is well-ventilated, with opening hatches that allow for airflow, keeping the space comfortable.
The head, located aft to port, features a separate shower stall, and is accessible from both the salon and the master cabin. The head is well-ventilated, and spacious, with plenty of storage for toiletries.
What sets the interior of the Hunter 376 apart from other vessels in its class is the combination of space, light, and comfort. The design makes excellent use of every inch, providing an open, inviting living space that’s perfect for both short trips and longer voyages.

The Hunter 376 rig is designed for ease of sailing. The swept back spreaders and shrouds do away with the need for a conventional back stay and allow for a larger mainsail area, making her easier to control. The shorter overlapping Jib, sheeted inside the stays allows for a better sheeting angle and is a more efficient rig due to the higher aspect ratio and the tighter sheeting angles.
