Since 1979 Nordic Tugs have been synonymous with quality, reliability, dependability, craftsmanship, comfort, performance and efficiency. Designed by Lynn Senour the NT 37 shares many of the same features as her smaller and larger siblings. Refined and continually enhanced over the years the core elements have remained constant.
Stepping from the swim platform into the cockpit through an offset transom door there is an integrated propane locker and seat to starboard, molded-in transom fender storage, and floor hatch to a large lazarette with adequate room for toys and cruising necessities. To port is a ladder leading to the flybridge and tender storage. Midships a Diamond Sea Glaze entrance door leads to the salon and galley.
Upon entering the living quarters there are hardwood cabinets to port and starboard and an L-shaped Ultrasuede settee to port. Adjacent is a folding hardwood high-low table that can be removed allowing the settee to convert to a pull out double berth. To starboard a large galley with propane stove, double stainless steel sinks, fridge/freezer, and thoughtful touches including corner top load pantry and built-in hardwood cutting board. Numerous hardwood faced drawers and cupboards provide more than ample storage.
Forward and up three steps is the bright and spacious raised pilot house, with commanding views and seating for four adults to cruise comfortably no matter the season. There is storage under the seats as well as in the steps leading to the port and starboard pilothouse doors. A well laid out helm features a hardwood wheel and analogue engine gauges complimented by modern electronics.
Down four steps from the pilot house, the companionway has a utility room to port, featuring a washer/dryer combination unit, freezer, bookshelf, and storage. To starboard is a spacious head, featuring a Vacuflush toilet, stainless steel sink, and separate glass-enclosed shower with more than adequate headroom. Hardwood-faced cabinets and built-in mirror finish the space nicely.
The head has two doors, one leading back to the companionway, the other straight into the expanded stateroom. A queen size berth is accessible from both sides, there are wardrobes to port and starboard, large drawers under the berth, and a number of cabinets on either side. A hardwood cabinet door forward leads to the anchor locker.
