Introduction

The Bayliner 4788 was and is a winning design. They feature a wonderful balance of accommodation and living spaces, a separate pilothouse, an inviting flybridge, ample storage, and a generous foredeck and cockpit.

This is another fine example of the supremely popular 4788. The pilothouse design is well suited to cruising our waters with her superior visibility, enviable layout, and superb value.

At Last, ex-Cartini, has always been a BC boat.  Only two owners since new, and shed kept by her first owner. Pride of ownership, and practicality, is evident throughout.

This fine yacht is in above average condition. She has just returned from a summer cruise, and is detailed, serviced, and ready to go again.

Throughout At Last

Board the vessel to the cockpit via the transom door from the swim platform. Enter via the sliding door to the salon; a large space, nearly full-beam, encompassing the adjacent galley.

Down four steps forward of the salon to the accommodations area with three cabins, two heads, custom storage, and engine room access.

Up four steps from the salon to the pilothouse, and up again to the flybridge.

  • updated LED lighting throughout
  • Webasto hydronic forced air furnace throughout (2010)
  • Marine Air Systems reverse cycle heat and air conditioning

Accommodations

The Master Stateroom is forward with centreline (almost) queen berth, opening port lights, opening overhead hatch, direct and indirect lighting, reading lights, storage under berth, in two hanging lockers, and in several drawers and shelves.

The Private Ensuite Head has a stall shower in a small tub, Vacuflush marine toilet, exhaust fan, basin, storage, and opening portlight.

There is a separate dressing area with a huge hanging locker, settee lounge, and storage drawers. This area can also be closed off and used as a Private Cabin with upper and lower bunks.

Moving aft towards the salon, on port, is the Guest Cabin, with double berth, hanging locker, storage cabinet, drawers, direct and indirect lighting, reading lights, and opening port lights.

Opposite, across the hall is the Guest / Day Head, with stall shower, exhaust fan, Vacuflush marine toilet, basin, and storage including mirrored cabinets.

The laundry was removed and replaced with a wine locker and custom made tool drawers.

Salon

The salon is full-beam with:

Port and starboard doors give access to the side decks and the foredeck. And give the helm superb visibility and a feeling of control when approaching a dock on either side.

The pilothouse design works so well because it affords the helm and the guests perfect views in almost every direction, whether enjoying the sea life, taking in the ocean vistas, or watching for logs!
