Elements of Maverick

The owners of Maverick have thoroughly enjoyed this boat. It satisfied all their needs over the years as the family grew.

The Bayliner 4788 has always been sought after as a friendly and practical design, and this boat, with its updates, fits right into the category of a family boat. Warm and dry, yet open and bright, with a fully enclosed flybridge, or sitting in the pilothouse you get the best of both worlds. Step aboard into a covered cockpit, which is always dry, just right for a couple chairs and a table. Enter into the salon, one feels relaxed, lots of windows, comfortable settee and chairs, and this is where you find the adjacent updated galley - cook and entertain at the same time.

When it's warm and sunny, the flybridge has plenty of seating. Open up the curtains and enjoy the evening sky. From the pilothouse, there are port and starboard doors to the side decks and bow. Here again is room for chairs or a sun pad, also room to set the anchor for that day of rest in your favourite bay. Maverick will  allow all this pleasure, but even at the end of the day, sleep well in your private stateroom and soft bed.

Another comfort zone is on the mechanical side, this boat has had the best of engine service with most parts replaced as needed, and all regularly monitored. The Cummins engines will allow a decent turn of speed if needed, and is also very economical to run if trawler speeds are more to your liking.
