All halyard and main sail controls are lead aft to the cabin top Spinlock rope clutches. The main sheet and traveller are located just forward of the steering pod allowing easy access around the cockpit and for going down below. The large steering wheel allows great sailing position on all points of sail and makes the steering very light. The boom end sheeting allows for excellent main sail trim and efficiency. There are additional shallow storage seats one port and one starboard that are easily removed for racing to open up the cockpit or in cruising mode allow seating for at least 7 adults. The stern seat is removable to allow easy transom boarding. There is a telescoping ladder, hot/cold shower and space to stow a life raft.
The Beneteau First 36.7 is a well built and well equipped racer/cruiser that is competitive around the race course or easily sailed short handed. She is very responsive and a great performer upwind even in light air. She has been setup and equipped to easily sail short handed including running the asymmetric spinnaker. With a top rate maintenance record, recent haul out and bottom paint she is a true turn key boat for her new owners.
