The Oceanis 393 is a real concentration of the art of living on a cruise. With a healthy behavior and easy maneuvering, Am Cala is well suited for sailing with a small crew or single handed. All lines leading aft into the cockpit along with a remote for the anchor windlass, you can operate the vessel safely from the cockpit. The helm center seat lowers creating a transom step, which provides easy access for swimming, boarding and accessing the tender.
Down the companion way you are met with a spacious saloon with a cherry -trimmed finish and linear galley. The three overhead skylights and two opening hatches bring in plenty of light and air. The u-shapped settee and table that converts to a double berth is located to port. There is plenty of storage in two cabinets above the settee. The centerline settee separates the galley from the saloon and has storage underneath. The liner galley is well appointed with a front loading fridge and freezer. Aft of the galley to port is the wet head. It is equipped with an electric flush toilet, vanity with storage and a shower.
Aft of the head is a guest cabin with a double bed. There is a hanging locker on the starboard hull and an opening porthole midships. The second cabin is on the port hull, just abaft the navigation table. With a similar set up as to starboard, both cabins provided access to the generator, storage and Wallace heater located in the transom.
There is a large, standard navigation table with a hinged top, the AC and DC panels are on the port hull at the nav station. The bench seat has a large storage compartment with another cubby below the panels.
Forward through the salon is the main cabin. There is a bench settee to port with storage, along with a hanging locker. With two windows, one to port and one to starboard along with two opening hatches, the main cabin is very comfortable. The Pullman bed with storage, ensuite wet head with shower and manual toilet, provide you with privacy.
On deck, with all lines leading aft the Beneteau 393 is set up for easy sail handling. Her mainsail is trimmed from the traveler, mounted forward of the companionway. The 140% headsail is furled from the cockpit and trimmed by the Lewmar primary winches on the combing. The mast is anodized aluminum and has swept back spreaders and twin backstays. The pull pit forward is robust and the stainless steel stemmed fitting has one offset anchor roller.
