The all-new 47EU is the next generation Heritage Series yacht, designed and built for today's discerning yachtsman. Step aboard, set your course and you know immediately that it's a Grand Banks: rock-solid reliability, balanced by graceful lines and gracious interiors. The essence of yachting, captured in fine craftsmanship at every turn. Push forward the throttles and you begin to discover new surprises: soon you're nearing 22 knots, riding smooth and trim atop its modified deep-V hull. Inside it's broader, brighter. Outside it's another great day for a cruise.
The Grand Banks 47 EU aft cockpit, salon, lower helm station and galley are all on one level, giving the yacht a very liveable layout, an open feel, and outstanding ocean views at anchor and underway, both for the captain at the helm and guests aboard.
Enter the salon from the cockpit via a large, windowed sliding door. There is a second entry door at the starboard side deck accessing the helm station.
Like all finely crafted Grand Banks yachts “Gioia” features exquisite teak woodwork with stainless steel hardware and teak and holly stripe flooring. Soft furnishings are neutral throughout. Granite counter tops and designer window covering complete the look.
There is an L-shaped settee to port with storage underneath and a teak Grand Banks hi-low fold out table that opens from a cocktail table to a dining table. Starboard there are two teak armchairs with an entertainment console between containing a television lift and bar cabinet with glass and bottle storage. Further forward a teak end table, with storage and a freezer. All around many windows are opening with screens, and a centre opening windshield on electric actuator.
Lower Helm Station
Opposite and to starboard of the galley is the lower helm station with a wide 36” leather bench seat, a flip up teak step, large storage locker, and door to the starboard side decks.
The enhanced GB Version III L-shaped galley layout is elegant and functional and features sumptuous granite counter tops, an electric cooktop, and stainless steel sink. The fridges and freezer have teak doors adding to the elegant, clean design. A remarkable amount of storage with drawers, a slide out pantry, overhead lockers, lazy susan, and additional custom cabinets.
“Gioia” has sleeping accommodations in two private staterooms. The master cabin is forward with a centre-line queen berth, abundant storage in hanging lockers, cupboards and drawers, reading lights, overhead hatch with screens and shades, opening port lights. There is a private ensuite head with stall shower, fan, and opening port lights.
The guest cabin is too starboard with twin athwartship berths, drawers and hanging storage, opening port light and hatch, with screens and easy access across the hall to the private guest / day head with shower stall, fan and opening port light.

The spacious cockpit lazarette houses the diesel furnace and abundant storage space. There is a large storage box and two smaller lockers on the foredeck.
Access to the boat deck and flybridge is via the gently sloped stairs from the cockpit. This stairway is hinged to reveal engine room access below.
The stairs from the aft cockpit provide access to the open and spacious flybridge and boat deck. Features include an L-shaped settee to starboard with storage underneath, a teak table, a smaller bench-style seat and wet bar with ice maker to port. Twin Ultra leather Stidd helm seats are to starboard with forward-facing bench seating to port. Further aft, the custom stainless steel hinged radar arch and sitting athwartship is the davit crane and tender storage
The engine room is accessed via a ladder from a hatch beside the helm, or by lifting the flybridge stairway in the aft cockpit. The space is organized and thoughtfully designed with easy access to all mechanical equipment, generator, batteries, etc. There is plenty of room for additional storage, spare parts and tools. The twin C-9 Caterpillar engines are turbo charged, after cooled, and electronically controlled common rail fuel injected engines. The 567hp provide excellent fuel efficiency at the low cruise, all with quiet and smoke free performance. The superb engine room insulation, soft motor mounts and a shaft saver coupler contribute to a surprisingly quiet interior salon while underway.
