The Tartan 3700 is arguably one of the best-built production boats in America. Designed by Tim Jackett as a "legitimate performance cruiser" to appeal to sailors seeking the perfect combination of speed, comfort, styling and above average construction. The design starts with upwind performance as a benchmark, then efficiency, comfortable motion, sail carrying ability and strength as the baseline.  Gottago 2 is a prime example of an exceptionally well cared-for yacht. The owner has kept her in "like new" condition with regular maintenance and constantly upgrading equipment. She had all new Garmin electronics installed in 2019 along with new Tartan redesigned rudder and rudder bearings to  name a few. Gottago 2 is a very clean and comfortable yacht, she is turn key and ready for her new owners.

Boarding Gottago 2 through the stanchion gate you walk into the well equipped, comfortable cockpit. There are cockpit cushions and plenty of storage in the two stern lazarettes.

To port is the navigation station where the AC and DC panels are located along with storage for charts and other navigational equipment. Just aft of the nav station is the head with a new Jabsco toilet, vanity and separate shower.

To starboard of the companionway is the galley. A top and front loading fridge, plenty of counter space and a three burner stove fill this U-shaped galley. The Double S/S sinks are located midships beside the companionway steps.

Moving aft through the galley you enter the spacious main cabin with a double berth and a hanging locker with storage to starboard. There are four port holes and one overhead hatch that allow in plenty of light.

Moving forward into the main salon there is an abundance of light from the two over head hatches and six port holes. The salon is beautifully finished with solid cherry cabinetry, bulkheads and a foldable salon table. The cabin sole is varnished teak and holly with teak banded access the hatches.
