Introduction

In production until 2006, the Sun Odyssea 43 DS was a super popular design for its spacious accommodations, a salon flooded with natural light, fabulous storage solutions, and ease of short handed sailing. With two large cabins, each with private ensuite heads, the Sun Odyssea 43 DS is a great yacht for a cruising couple who wants to occasionally accommodate, and pamper, visiting family or guests.

Throughout

Board direct to the cockpit via the opening in the transom. Spacious cockpit with steps up to the side decks and forward, uncluttered with shrouds set inboard.

Down steps to the bright interior with master cabin aft, ensuite head and shower stall to port, galley to starboard, full beam salon next, nav table to port, guest cabin forward, also with a vanity and second private ensuite head to port.

Accommodations

This is a two cabin, two head layout. Both cabins are quite large for a 43-foot yacht.

The owners cabin is aft can be accessed by either side of the companionway. It is one of the most spacious aft cabins in an aft-cockpit design. There is a queen berth, individual reading lights, opening port lights, a broad shelf on each side of the berth, settees port and starboard, hanging lockers and shelf lockers.

The private owners head is to port with a large shower stall, manual marine toilet, basin, and storage lockers.

The guest cabin is forward, also with a queen berth, shelves, hull windows. opening overhead hatch, a settee, vanity, hanging locker and numerous storage lockers including a large hanging locker.

Salon

Descend to the salon from the cockpit down a broad stairway. The salon floor is cleverly elevated just slightly so all on board can enjoy the broad vistas and the natural light such designs are known for.

The U-shaped settee is to starboard, wrapped around a large table. Along with two very comfy seats to port, also with a table, can very comfortably seat six diners with ample room.

Galley
