Cherubini

45

$475,000 CAD

Vancouver, BC

Built by the Independence Cherubini Boat Company of Delran New Jersey, this Cherubini 45 pilothouse is the result of a partnership between a passionate yachting traditionalist, and a caring, custom yacht builder. This handsome yacht is a bespoke and robust build that has been well cared for, is well-optioned, offers reliability, comfort, good value, and is handsomely a little different.

In the 1980s, Geoffrey White of acclaimed Hans Christian Yachts, decided a to expand into the trawler yacht market, but he wanted them to be built in the US. He searched for a like-minded builder, which led to a collaboration with Lee Cherubini, a renown perfectionist, of the Cherubini Boat Yard. And the Cherubini 45 was born.

She is a trawler that travels very economically between 6 to 8 knots, but also has the power to plane at up to 13 knots (depending on load). This capability is handy to scoot out of the way if for example; encountering needed course corrections around commercial traffic, running against strong currents, or simply getting to an anchorage before sunset.

Knight Star is one of only a handful of these romantic yet capable yachts. She is rare to market, shed kept, beloved by her owners, After 13 seasons, and thousands of miles, the owners have decided to move to a different design for their next adventures, making Knight Star available.

She is currently for sale in Vancouver, BC, and available for viewing on our sales dock at Coal Harbour Marina in downtown Vancouver.
