"NonSense" is an extremely well optioned Beneteau Sense 43, specifically well adapted for the Pacific North West climate and short handed cruising. Top of the line "Iverson" dodger and bimini with full enclosure provides excellent protection from the elements with a large usable space in any weather. The Webasto hydronic heater provides super quiet radiant heat throughout the boat and also provides endless hot water using the "Everhot" water tank system.     The Sense design breaks the rules and reinvents the spirit of yachting. It takes a different view of the sea, no longer is it designed as a sailing space alone but also as a very thoughtful living space. Sailing and anchoring are complementary and express a new lifestyle on the water.  The Sense 43 brings all the advantages of a catamaran to a monohull. There are large ports for a nearly undisturbed line of sight below, to give you the feeling of not being “below." The cockpit and main cabin are perfectly married, with only three steps separating them, and great accommodations for daily living. They are very innovative, comfortable, and make great entertaining boats.  The cockpit has been dropped down to both protect your guests from the wind and also provide great visibility for the helms-person. To starboard there is a U-shaped seating with a table that drops down to turn the seats into a full-size daybed; lines are run hidden through the coach roof, directly to the winches and the ends can be tucked away in a discreet line compartment. No more lines everywhere in the cockpit. Finally, the transom opens fully with lift up helm seats, for completely open access to the water. Cruising on a monohull has never been more comfortable.

Cockpit

Stepping aboard is made easy with a custom step. The cockpit has a layout of a much larger boat and perfect for entertaining or lounging. The table also lowers to form a large daybed. The large swim platform allows easy access to and from the water or in and out of a tender. The teak floors and full cockpit cushions make the space feel warm and elegant.

Accommodations

The concept of the Sense line is revolutionary in cruising sailboats. All of the living accommodations are forward with a clear delineation between "Living and Mechanical", the Sense gives you a feeling of open, single level modern living.

The essence of the Sense line is experienced when you first enter the main salon. Only 3 steps (all at a normal 45% angle) and you are standing in the main salon.  The galley sits to port with exceptional storage and a centre console which doubles as backrest and TV lift.  The U shaped dinette and settee sits to starboard. The dinette table lowers to convert  into a large berth. The Nav station facing aft just inside the companionway. The nav station has an adjustable seat to accommodate for any boat heel whilst under sail. This salon and galley space feels like that of a much larger boat. Large windows allow ample daylight and clear view of the ocean around you.

One of the great features of the Sense is that while standing in the main salon you feel connected with the cockpit at the same level. Moving forward is the guest cabin to port featuring a double berth with full stand up height, hanging lockers and plenty of room to dress. Moving forward up to starboard is the large head with a separate glass enclosed shower.  The  master cabin is all the way forward with hanging lockers, drawers and large port windows that enhance the light and ocean view. The aft base of the fwd berth lifts to form a head rest.
