Naval architect by Finot-Conq. The interior and exterior are designed by Milan-based Nauta Design. The entire interior is incredibly bright with large windows and finished in Alpi White Oak with Rovere Aleve laminated foorboards.
This Beneteau features the functional three-cabin layout with the L-shaped galley to port of the companionway. Headroom throughout the salon, galley and forward cabin is 1.95 m (6' 5"), and 1.85 m (6' 1") in the aft cabins, and 1.89 m (6' 2") in the head and shower.
The first thing to note is the unique double door access to the forward cabin, which in the open position, expands the space and add to the sense of a larger salon. And then closes off and finishes the bulkhead for full privacy.
PORT AND STARBOARD AFT CABINS:
These cabins are symmetrical, each with:
The head with integrated shower stall is to starboard of the companionway, with 1.89 m headroom (6' 2") and
The salon and galley are adjacent and are bright and airy with plenty of natural light and ventilation.
The galley is L-shaped, and is to port at the base of the companionway. Despite its size, there is adequate storage and refrigeration for long summer excursions.
The cockpit is noticeable large and wide with plenty of room to run the boat or to lounge and relax.
Enter the boat via the opening gate in the port and starboard lifelines, or, more comfortably, via the drop down transom almost to water level, with an intermediate step up for added convenience and safety.
The twin steering consoles port and starboard open up the genre of the boat making boarding gear and guests that much easier.
Today's Beneteau performance sailing yachts wth wider, wedge-shaped aft sections have the mast slightly further forward, providing a well balanced sail plan. The sheeting angles are increased 3 to 4 degrees giving greater VMGs. The mainsail is a more constant foil shape and there is no need to twist the mainsail as in earlier designs. The arch provides a very short sheeting angle, and combined, there is no need of a mainsheet traveller.
AC and DC power systems service the vessel through a circuit breaker panel at the nav station. 110 V is provided by shore power through the battery charger.
