Teak is a wonderful marine wood, used by Grand Banks since day one, you will find it in all of their boats, very traditional. This boat is no exception, you will find a warm and pleasent stain, with a satin finish. Not to waste any mill ends, Grand Banks created the popular parguet floor, again hard wood finished to a beautiful shine. Head liner and upholstry fabric all chosen for light and a warm feeling. curtains and pillows do the same.
Step aboard Endeavour through the traditional Grand Banks side gates or on the swim grid and up the transom steps and the transom gate. Once aboard notice the wide and safe side decks, a true loved feature of these boars, hand hold's everywhere, again for safety, Rich teak cap rails and hand rails shows class and style. Enter the boat via either port or starboard side door, and the first thing you notice is the brightness from the all around large windows. Your eye's will then focus on the rich soft tones of the teak interior.satin finish on all the wood trim, semi-gloss on the teak parquet floor, natural tones to the head liner and cushion fabric. Forward to starboard is the lower helm, with easy to read instruments and good all around visability. Right behind the helm is a pilot seat and built in dry bar with storage and behind that again is the built in settee and yacht dinner table. Across on the port side is the galley, full of storage room, refrigerator and stove/oven. Port aft is a second settee with a filler seat, second refrigerator/freezer and an entertainment center.
Forward down, is the guest stateroom, with a large vee berth and private head with fresh water VacuFlush, vanity and shower, large hanging closet and drawers for your storage needs. Teak paneling on the side, hatch above and opening portlights,
Aft of the salon down four stairs is the master stateroom with two beds, double to starboard and a single to port. Fully private head with freah water Vacu-Flush , vanity and separate stand up shower, storage drawers under the beds and across the aft bulkhead, and right by the stairs is a full hanging closet. There is also portable stairs in the closet for the aft hatch as another method to enter or exit the aft stateroom.
The engine room is under the main salon, access through a door in the forward stateroom under the stairs or throught hatches in the salon floor. The engine room is well ordered and easy access to all on board systems for proper maintenance.
Above the main salon is the large flybridge and upper helm station. Two back to back seats for up to six plus an after market table and chairs for the evening dinner, bimini top for shade. There is plenty of canvas on board to protect bright work and keep the sun out of the interior, as well as a full winter cover for total off season protection.
Endeavor has benefitted over the last several years of proper care and stewardship, with regular maintenance. Bright work kept up, polished regularly, Engine room serviced including heat exchangers and water pumps. Electronics up dated as needed. Decks properly looked after, no leaks and plenty of life left in them. Double canvas coverings over winter helps tremendously to keep the new look.
Each bed is a full Latex with vapour blanked underneath, very comfortable.
New ABC fire extinguishers added to each room, including engine room.
Note. The boat has a watermaker HRO brand 10gph all wired and plumbed in, but does not work at this time. owners never felt the need to use it, so it may need replacing or a full service.
