"Akira" is a Grand Banks 36 Heritage Classic. The GB 36 has long been considered a model of perfection. One of the original trawler-style boats to hit the world market. Good, practical sea boats, classic, ageless looks. Perfect for our BC coastal waters. Safe wide side decks, open and spacious flybridge, and when inside, plenty of all around visibility and bright daylight.
Two separate staterooms, one forward with its own heads and one aft also with its own heads, separated by the main salon which has seating for eight, dinette table for four, the lower helm station and a galley.
All finishings are done to high Grand Banks standards.
The engine room is below the main salon and for this size of a boat is remarkably spacious. Here you will find many recent upgrades giving any new owner years of reliable engine service and worry free boating.
The flybridge has seating for four but also enough room for more tables and chairs to make a full day of enjoyment in the outdoors.

The SALON is very spacious with an open layout and large windows providing wonderous 360 degree visability. The "L" shaped settee very comfortably seats four adults.
The GALLEY is forward in the salon and features generous storage and counter space.
The LOWER HELM is forward to starboard and has a direct door to the starboard side deck.
A feature of the GB 36 Classic is the large MASTER CABIN. It has a double bed to starboard, a single to port and lots of stand up dressing room in between. There are lockers and cabinets throughout, private head, vanity, and shower room, and private access to the aft deck. New head 2020.
