The all-new 47EU is the next generation Heritage Series yacht, designed and built for today's discerning yachtsman. Step aboard, set your course and you know immediately that it's a Grand Banks: rock-solid reliability, balanced by graceful lines and gracious interiors. The essence of yachting, captured in fine craftsmanship at every turn. Push forward the throttles and you begin to discover new surprises: soon you're nearing 22 knots, riding smooth and trim atop its modified deep-V hull. Inside its broader, brighter. Outside it's another great day for a cruise.
There is an L-shaped settee to port with storage underneath and a teak Grand Banks hi-low fold out table that opens from a cocktail table to a dining table. The custom made insert also coverts the settee to a double berth. Starboard there are two barrel style chairs with an entertainment console between containing a television lift and bar cabinet with glass and bottle storage. Further forward a teak end table, with storage and a freezer. All around are opening windows with screens, and a centre opening windshield on electric actuator.
The L-shaped galley features granite counter tops, a propane cooktop, stainless steel sink, fridge, separate freezer, convection/microwave oven, and numerous storage lockers and cabinet, along with additional fold out counter space.
Opposite and to starboard of the galley is the lower helm station with a wide 36” leather bench seat, a flip up teak step, large storage locker, and door to the starboard side decks.
Serendipitous offers accommodations for four in two private staterooms. The master cabin is forward with a queen berth, storage in hanging lockers, and drawers, reading lights, overhead hatches with screens and shades, opening port lights, also with screens. The flat screen television and DVD player are mounted to the portside. There is a private ensuite head with shower stall, fan, and opening port lights.
The guest cabin is to starboard with twin athwartship berths, drawer and hanging storage, opening port light and hatch, with screens and easy access across the companionway to the private guest / day head with shower stall, fan and opening port light
Guest and Day Head
The large covered aft cockpit and the wide covered side decks provide comfort and safety when moving about the boat or gaining access through openings in the stainless steel railings on port, starboard and the aft. There is an opening transom door with teak step to the swim platform.
The spacious cockpit lazarette contains a freezer,Webasto diesel furnace and abundant storage space. There is a large storage box and two smaller lockers on the foredeck.
Access to the boat deck and flybridge is via the gently sloped stairs from the cockpit. This stairway is hinged to reveal engine room access below.
The stairs from the aft cockpit provide access to the open and spacious flybridge and boat deck. Features include an L-shaped settee to starboard with storage under, a teak table, a smaller bench-style seat and wet bar with ice maker to port. Two Todd helm seats are to starboard with a forward-facing bench seating to port. Further aft, sitting athwartship is the davit crane and tender storage
Flybridge Helm Station
The engine room is accessed via a ladder from a hatch beside the helm, or by lifting the flybridge stairway in the aft cockpit. The space is organized and thoughtfully designed with easy access to all mechanical equipment, generator, batteries, watermaker etc. There is plenty of room for additional storage, spare parts and tools.
