Mutineer is a well know yacht name in our region - the most recent Mutineer in a long span of yachts - initially racing, then eventually family cruising sailing vessels, followed by three new Grand Banks motor yachts. Well found, well kept, and properly maintained based on the years of accumulated yacht knowledge, this the most recent Mutineer was sold new in 2007 and has been yacht club, shed kept by the same owner ever since. She was chosen and optioned for safety, dependability, comfort, and ease of use and care. All with our waters and cruising needs well met. Note the optional 503hp CAT power, bow thruster, teak clad flybridge deck, propane stove top, two Stidd seats on the flybridge and the deletion of the traditional mast. Outfitting included a custom stainless steel arch to modernize the lines, provide grab handles and open up access aft to the boat deck, all designed for neatly stacked radar and satellite antenna, and hinged to drop down for boathouse access. Extra house batteries, hydronic heat, a lift TV with satellite feed coupled to the Bose audio system, a Bimini top and full aft deck enclosure, and a solid array of navigation gear complete the picture. For shore access, a fine center consul RIB on the upper deck, and for exercise, a lapstrake style FRP row boat mounted on the swim platform. The essence of this yacht is Sparkman and Stephens design, crafted with renowned Grand Banks engineering and build quality resulting in an exceptional ocean going craft. A generous aft deck open to the salon and galley creates a rare flow of space - from intimacy with the water to a warm, secure living space. Comfort and ease inside with grace of fabric, fine joinery and superb fit and finish ease tensions to relaxed states. Large windows surround - the seascape or anchorage is today’s view, ever changing, always the place to be. The GB47EU is artful. A traditional look suggests a yacht all about room, capacity and economical, long distance travel. And that is true. But add 1,000 hp and a hull equally designed for for heavy seas and lift, and she feels like a thoroughbred. Instant acceleration, quick as the wind, precise, responsive steering and control are exhilarating! All in great safety and comfort; and then at day’s end at anchor - all elegance, all things yachting.
