Since 1965, Grand Banks Yachts has been setting the highest standard combining robust construction, intricate engineering, and exquisite teak joinery and finishing in their pleasure craft. Grand Banks Yachts endure, and the 47 Heritage, in production since 2006, continues to please with over 100 built so far. Others have attempted to mimic GB, yet Grand Banks Yachts continue to stand the test of time with in construction, reliability, and cruising pleasure.
The GB 47 Heritage Europa is stable, steady, and supremely responsive. Passing 18 knots on a plane the ride is remarkably quiet, comfortable, and agile at the touch of a wheel. Top speed is over 24 knots.
Many subtle design features contribute to the low trim angle and great visibility, from the distribution of weight to the specialized geometry of the prop tunnels. The dual-chine hull gets you swiftly up on plane, and along with the flared bow, helps keep things dry on deck. More rake in the bow angle and a shallower forefoot make for a softer, more comfortable entry of the hull into rough waters. Placement and size of the keel keeps her solidly on track.
This is a stunning vessel with very low hours. She is lightly used and loaded with options. The owners are actively considering a larger Grand Banks.
This is a Canadian vessel with Canadian duty paid.
The GB 47 EU salon, lower station and galley are all on one level, giving the yacht a very liveable layout, an open feel, and outstanding visibility, both for the helm, and guests with ocean vistas for all!

The cockpit lazarette contains the water maker, and yet there is still plenty of room for all matter of cruising gear.
